ECC Allocation

Hi Team ,

Request your help on Allocation functionality in SAP ECC

Is it possible to apply allocation on Sales Order having material for which initially there was no allocation maintained

Example:

SO created with material 1000 with order quantity as 100 units.

Since there is no allocation maintained for material 1000 , initially the order was fully confirmed

Now, allocation of 50 units is maintained for same material .

Is it possible for allocation be be applied now and thus SO would have only 50 units as confirmed Qty .

Also

Will this be an business scenario where there are advance orders for month of June placed in Month of Jan Itself and Business maintains allocation ( June) for those material only in month of May. Can this be handled with Standard Setup

Hello,

if you set your allocation quantity after a sales order took place,you should run atp for that so again.

if you did your planning horizon that covers june and you maintain the quantites in mc94 and IS updates are working fine,advance orders are also taken into consideration.
