Hello,
we have changed our naming convention for user-ids so that I was asked to change a lot of SAP usernames in our systems. Does anybody know a way (e. g. a small report or something else) to change user id without copying them in su01? This would save much time and also the user wouldn't loose their personal parameter data.
Thanks.
Bye
Frank

Hi Frank,
If you are not using Central User Adminstration then in SU01 give the user name and then from menu bar choose USERS---->Rename.
If Central User Adminsitration is in place this option ain't available. Here I guess you can use CATT tool. Frankly even for the first option you can use CATT tool.
Please award points accordingly.
