Network setup best practices or admin guide

Hello Experts,

Is there a best practice on how to setup network for a new SAP implementation. We are doing a s.4 hana implementation and never had sap before, so want to know if there is any such guide. Please share.

Hello Jun,

The actual critical network settings would be at the installation guide. You can also check SAP documentation (SAP notes) under the component "BC-NET" for more specific information. You'll need an S-user before being granted access to that document.

For the network requirement of specific SAP product, please check the corresponding sizing guide.
