CJR2 Excel Upload Layout

Hi Experts,

My client needs to have a layout to upload cost plan in CJR2 which supports the below template

i.e- we need WBS and cost element as lead columns and then we need period 1-12 for current year and period 1-12 for next year. Post that we need period 12 only for next 3 years. It is required that the system should be able to derive current and next years.

I tried to achieve this but couldn't find a way to meet the requirement. Can anyone help me with this, whether it is technically feasible at all if yes, how.

Hi,

Just to clarify the requirement more, I need a layout which has Year & Period in a single column with WBS and Cost Element as lead columns. I tried to create layout with creating "Key Figures with Characteristics" and selected Period and Fiscal as characteristics. Entered period value as 1 and in Fiscal Year entered GJAHR (expecting period 1 of the year), maintained similarly for remaining periods. Did the same for next year as Period 1, Fiscal Year GJAHR+1 (expecting period 1 of next year).

Surprisingly, it works only for period 3 of current year (i.e period = 3, Fiscal Year = GJAHR) and not for any other period/year. I can update values online in CJR2 or by upload for this period only. If I plan value in any other period and save CJR2, it says- no plan data changed. Seems that its not able to save the plan values entered in the other periods.

Can anyone please guide what I might be doing wrong or what I am trying to achieve is possible at all.
