Hi All,
We are on SAP PI 7.4 single stack and use eclipse based NWDS for creating IFLOWS and deploy the same in ID .
Problem :
One of the Iflow (in DEV) has now been recently changed and activated in NWDS, which has deleted few old configurations objects( communication channels , routing etc )
We do not find an option to revert to an older version of the IFLOW as its "Read only " mode .It provides option to "deploy" the old version only .But in that case the NWDS IFlow will still not be having all required objects .
One of the option we see to manually create the missing configuration objects in NWDS activate and redeploy new iflow .
Questions :
1 .If the IFLOW is changed manually ,activated and deployed , will the corresponding transport work good in Production as the deleted communication channels have to be created new ?
2. Please suggest if SAP has give an option to revert the iflow in NWDS to an older version ?
Thanks in Advance .
Abi .

Hi Youssef,
Thank you for the inputs, yes i could find the option and revert back.
But there is one more point regards to the versions of Iflow in different environments (dev, test, Prod) there is no common identifier to know exact version of the Iflow.
We get the details of the user who made the change in Dev and in Test we get the CTS transport user name and only in deployed ICO we can get to know the person who deployed it.
More over i want a specified version level identifier for Iflow so that i can revert to exact production version in Development environment and work on it.
Your inputs on this will be of immense help as we struggle to manage the Iflow versions where multiple people are working on same Iflow and we need to manage the TRs based on each persons production movement plans.
Regards,
Appasab

Hi Appasab,
check the following link, this will solve your problem if still required!
1- Select and open the desired old version (From the history of IFlow)
2- Choose the Restore this version
Best Regards
Youssef
