Characteristic Editable based on Document Status and Type

Hello Guys ,

I have an requirement where the business wants to have an editable characteristic even through document status might be locked 'S'.

e.g if we have RA and AV which as status Reviewed and Approved defined as S type . i.e. Locked

we want to have certain characteristic editable based on this status.

Please advise if the same is possible.

Hello Gaurang,

This is not possible in standard in my opinion.

Can you define a new status which is not locked and define business process in a way that you take the document to not locked status change characteristic and get it back in the status in which it is locked ?
