K Inactive due to calculation basis/shipping material type

Hi Experts,

I have created FB00 condition type on weight & mile basis in shipment cost pricing procedure. Other costs are FV00 insurance, LD01 Loading charges. All condition types are having condition class B Prices. FV00 is having class B, cal type B fixed amount calculation base D shipment cost item, with access sequence DIEN. LD01 loading charge is class B calculation type D gross weight, calculation base Dshipment cost item.

In pricing procedure all condition type is assigned routine 51 item with pricing. While creating VI01, I am only getting freight cost FBoo.

Loading charge LD01, Insurance cost FV00 are not appearing. In analysis it says condition ignored as requirement 51 is not fulfilled. I understand that as condition has class B pricing, and first condition FB00 is present so other conditions are inactive. I could not find solution from the note 318775

It says K inactive due to calculation basis/shipping material type. If I remove requirement 51 from condition type FV00, VI01 shows only insurance cost to all items & my freight cost FB00 is not working. I could not find solution from any thread.

Without removing requirements 51 how can I activate insurance, loading cost FV00 & LD01? Is there any setting required in condition type to change

calculation base C with shipping material type ? or how can I activate other charges - conditions when routine 51 is assigned which inactivate my other charges condition? We do not use any shipping material so far so I am not clear  how to resolve this issue. Appreciate your valued advice.

Thanks

Hi Phanikumar,

I had tried earlier to change class of other prices from B to A=Surcharge but automatically it was not working.  I logged out and when I log in once again today it worked well. Some time after saving conditions it is not working but if you log out and again log in it works.

My problem was resolved as under. All main freight coat class is kept as B = Prices. Rest pries like insurance, handling charges, loading charges, customs are made class A=Surcharge with Plus sign and maintained condition records in TK12. So all prices pop up correctly. Please note that all item category group are assigned to one pricing for all items procedure. Screenshot attached for Define pricing procedure determination for shipment cost.

Once again thanks a lot Phanikumar for advise which I really appreciate. Still I have not come across SAP note yet. If found I shall try to have all condition as Class B type & see routine 51 is not giving trouble to deactivate other conditions. We are grateful to you Phanikumar.

Thanks & regards

Prakash Parikh.

The pricing components you have asked are achievable based on condition class..

Please change your condition class to either discount/surcharge with plus/minus field use..

Hi Phanikumar,

Thanks for good suggestion which I have already done But issue is that it is not catching automatic pricing. When I do manual input it is working fine.

Secondly I changed pricing procedure for each item say for freight one price, for insurance another, for loading & customs another and it is working fine.

But still I need to understand if one price is there how to make other condition with B class active.

Why 2-3 prices(as element) in a single shipment document??

normally system will allow you only one price element-not more than that..

In the shipment cost document, I have following prices as client needs to have & SAP provides condition types like:

1. Freight cost for three transporters

2. Insurance cost

3. Handling charges at the port by port authorities

4. Customs Duty to be paid

As SAP have provided various cost condition types, we believe that it can have many prices & not only one price.

Still my question is not answered. If anyone knows how to activate second condition type from K please advise. SAP note could not be understood well.

Appreciate your help.

hi

In standard way we cannot activate to multiple prices in conditions level..

so as lakshmipathi said that note you just  follow that...keep trying on that

Go through the explanation 1.2 given in the following OSS note

  • Note 773034 - Information: Freight conditions set as 'inactive'

Thanks Lakshmipathi. But I am unable to fetch the note. So can you please advise what configuration change I have to do?

Or is it related to ABAP program to modify? Just give me steps what to do so I can resolve the issue. Appreciate your guidance step by step.

Thanks a lot.
