SAP Fiori Launchpad Issue

Hi,

When I am trying to launch SAP Fiori the page is not getting opened, when i checked web console it was showing below error.

Hi Sugumar,

Could you also show your rfc destination and system alias configuration if the role you assigned to the user and the userid with which you login is same or its going as rfc user.

Hi Tejas,

Could you please explain in detail where i can found this details in the system. We are using System alias as 'LOCAL' for all the OData services.

I found the below components are missing in our system,

UIX01EAP  100         SP3

UIXHCM      100        SP4

SRA002  Release 6   SP6

UIX02EAP 100          SP2

Can you please confirm as this is mandatory for SAP Fiori, as we are in the latest SP level.

Hi Sugumar,

What is the architecture of your landscape ?

if its a central hub landscape, local alias should be only for Launchpad services.

if its embedded landscape, local should be fine.

If you dont have UI components, how are you planning to run the applications ? Without UI components of the apps, apps wont work as you dont have the frontend part.

You need both frontend and backend (saying fiori is latest is something different as it is only ui library version). Frontend UI and backend odata consists of application design, logic and functions.

For eg : HCM apps : you need UIHR001 (frontend), GBX01HR, GBX01HR5 (backend). (Latest version of hcm app)

MM apps : you need UIX01EAP (Frontend), GBAPP001,002 (backend)

We are creating IS package, so we have only one system for both frontend (Gateway) and backend (ECC). when we tried to install UIHR001, GBX01HR not able to install.

Will ask Basis to check again.

Hi Sugumar,

UIHR001 and GBX01HR are the latest component for HCM apps. Check the minimum system requirements.

Hi Tejas,

Thansk for the reply.

We have installed UIHR001 and GBX01HR successfully, but still we are facing the same error in console which i mentioned earlier.

In analysis we found that SAP UI Development tool kit version is 1.22, so we tried to upgrade to 1.28 using /UI5/UI5_UPLOAD_PATCH_TO_MIME but we are getting below error.

Version don't exist in system. 1.28 Installl corresponding support package.

Which app-specific roles have you assigned to the user? Also can you click on the icon on the top left of the header and click on Tile Catalog link and check if you can see any catalogs and tiles?

ZSAP_UI2_ADMIN_731	Adminstrator role with basic athorizations to run UI2 731 web services
ZSAP_UI2_USER_700	User Role for basic UI2 700 web services
ZSAP_HCM_BEN_MON_APP	Role for My Benefits App
ZSAP_HCM_PS_MON_APP	Role for Paystubs app
ZSAP_HCM_TS_CRE_APP	Role for My Timesheet App

There is no catalog and tiles displaying, please find attached the screen shot.

Hi Vishnu,

We dont have SAP_HCM_EMPLOYEE_APPS role but the roles ZSAP_HCM_BCR_EMPLOYEE_X1 and ZSAP_HCM_TCR_T_X1 is mapped to the user.

Hi sugumar can you check if the service system alias is assigned and metadata loaded.

also check in icf services.

I have checked the assignment of system alias and everything is configured. As we are using HR Renewal which is working fine with the same system alias.
