HANA Live issue

Hi,

We have installed HANA live and trying to do data preview for one of the views from the package sap->hba->ecc.

In the data preview, raw data tab an error is displayed as

Error: SAP DBTech JDBC: [391] (at 93): invalidated view.

When we copy the view to a custom package and do data preview, data is being displayed without any issue. Can some one please help on below questions?

a) can we do data preview on the installed HANA live view from package sap->hba->ecc? If yes, are we missing any privileges to do the same?

b) Is copying the HANA live view to the custom package is the only way we can do data preview?

I'l answer in reverse order:

b) you should be able to do data preview from a standard SAP package. Furthermore, in HANA Live Browser (Explorer) you can see only those views (not the copied ones).

a) check user / authorizations. Maybe this will help: SAP HANA Live Browser - Getting Started - SAP Library

b) In the HANA live browser, you can see the custom created views. Just create one custom view or copy any standard and check in the HANA live browser. Check in the path NA - undefined in the HANA live browser. If not able to see, might be a security issue.

a) Having the same error code as "391 : invalidated view" from both live browser as well as hana studio when try to do data preview and error says as "dberror(Connection.prepareStatement): 391 - invalidated view:"

Any pointers will be helpful.
