OTF module: Unknown print control SF101 should be output error

Dear Experts,

We're having TOSHIBA e3540 printer. And currently we're not able to print, and here's error that we can see in SP01:

OTF module: Unknown print control SF101 should be output.

We're using POST2 as the device type.

And here're the screenshot from SE73 and from the log.

Appreciate your time and advice.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi,

standard POST2 devtype does not have a font print control SF101...

I assume that either there is an explicit /:   PRINT-CONTROL SF101  statement in your document (unlikely) or your document/spool request was  formatted for another device type (not POST2).

Maybe someone changed the device type of the printer definition in SPAD to POST2, and before that it had a device type which did have fonts with SF101 (e.g. any HPxxx device type)?

To avoid such problems, run RSTXDELL report to delete runtime objects of SCR/SF according to note  4367  and then re-create your spool request from application (do not reprint the old spool).

Regards,

Alex
