Issue with sproxy

Former Member

Hi All,

We are having an issue in proxy connectivity between ECC and PI. Everything was running fine for past several months but since yesterday.

  • Below 3 RFCs are working perfectly fine
    1. Type G connection with our PI system
    2. LCRSAPRFC
    3. SAPSLDAPI
  • SLDCHECK is working fine. SLDAPICUST has our PI system details.
  • Integration Engine Configuration in SXMB_ADM is rightly configured

But we are getting "no connection to esr." message when we open sproxy.

SPROX_CHECK_IFR_RESPONSE is also failing with "Requested Repository is down. Could not establish connection to ES Repository.." error.

The URL is correct.

I went through several blogs before reaching out to you all on scn for help.

Note: We are using SAP PI 7.0 , ECC 730 release patch level 13

Regards,

Vishal

Hi Vishal,

That issue is normal in PI 7.1 or upper with SM59 destination SAP_PROXY_ESR. If you are connecting PI 7.0, you should not have this connection, isn't it?

Hi Inaki,

This connection is required though we created with a different name.

As I mentioned earlier, everything was running perfectly fine until yesterday.

Vishal,

check in this transaction-LCRSAPRFC

also check with user credentials maintained,Might be some password reset would have happened.

Thanks for your response. Password was not reset. The 3 RFCs mentioned were failing yesterday. I understand from our BASIS team that they fixed it by changing host name to ip. Everything else remained same.

Vishal
