Solution Manager Maintenance Optimizer : how to setup?

Hi gurus,

I'd like (as mandatory now) to configure my solman system (4.0 - ST 400 patch level 4) with "Maintenance Optimizer " function.

As all satellite systems have been set properly and EWA+Alert Monitoring work fine, I'd like to know what is the procedure to configure Maintenance Optimizer " function also.

I noted that lots of threads were created on this subject but based on different scenarios and/or contexts.

More, i noted that only productive systems dusplayed in my solman system in "maintenance optimizer" tab : could you please explain me why?

Zulain,

When you create a Solution in solution manager, the default is for a production system. You need to create a new Solution for your QA, DEV, Sandbox systems. Then you will be able to use Maintenance Optimizer with them.

HI Zulian,

You have a good config guide for MOPZ in service.sap.com

Anyways if you have ST-400 SP 10 it will help you configure MOPZ easily. Anyways you have to have atleast SP9.

Please chekc the below links for further details on configuring MOPZ. You have activate BC sets, etc.
