Hi,
May be it seems simple but...
When we install NW CE version, does portal, visual composer gets installed or just j2ee engine gets installed?
Thanks.
Best Regards,
Shiva
Hi Shiva,
I just installed the Sneak Preview. As of now we have the Java EE 5 server and Webdynpro capabilities. Portal and VC are not available now.

I din't install CE yet.
But CE documentation containts the following:

Creating iViews and pages from the applications: iViews and pages based on the applications are created in the NWCE portal. These iViews and pages can also be added to worksets or roles in NWCE.

It seems that CE has own portal.
I am going to check it when I install SP2 for WinXP
Hi Shiva,
The download page lists the components included in this trial version. In addition, it also provides Web Dynpro design time and runtime support as well as the SAP NetWeaver Administrator.
Portal and VC are not included in this trial, however the CE online documentation reflects the whole product that is going into ramp-up.
HTH!
