GRC Access Control role dependency

Hi guys,

we have GRC 10.1 in place (SP11) and I would like to setup the following in our workflow in Access Control.

If a given Business role is selected in the request creation I would like to have automatically another Business Role been added to the request.

I know from previous GRC Version (i.e. 5.2/5.3) that this is/was possible.

Anybody having this in place in GRC 10.1?

Hello Jean,

I assume you think about the role mapping functionality. You can check parameter 2014 and 2015 in the AC Configuration Guide. Role mapping could be enabled in SPRO and maintained in BRM for technical roles.

I wonder if there is a business role concept in GRC AC 5.2 and 5.3.

As far as I know, Business roles are introduced with GRC 10.x.

Business Roles is a container which holds single roles, composite role and even business roles as well.

If you want business role to be part of business role, then its very much possible in GRC 10.X.
