IDM SUM error determining DB information

Hi all,

during installation of IDMCLMRESTAPI02_3-80000540.SCA and IDMUI502_1-80000542.SCA the following error occured in SUM during fetching DB information.

The log file is attached.

"com/microsoft/sqlserver/jdbc/SQLServerDriver has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 52.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 50.0"

I assume the java version is outdated or the JDBC driver is to old. But I'm not sure and don't want to change anything that is not required. Has anybody faced the same issue?

The solution is to replace the sqljdbc4.jar in

C:\usr\sap\SID\J00\j2ee\cluster\bin\ext\<JDBC Driver name>

and reinstall an older version of the Identity Center.

After restarting the SUM process installation was completed successfully.
