Hi community
I would like to change the directory of the extension and configuration directory. Actually I could do that with @user.home, but it creates a folder in my network user folder. After I installed the SAP BW Acqusition Connector extension the start procedure of SAP Lumira take more than 7 minutes (everytime). I found out that when I change the .sapvi-directories to a local directory, it takes about 3-7 seconds (with the extension).
The problem there is that some of my clients share a computer and would see the others stories or get the other's settings. So what I would like to do is to set the local user directory like this:
-Dosgi.instance.area=C:/Users/%USERNAME%/.sapvi/workspace
-Dosgi.configuration.area=C:/Users/%USERNAME%/.sapvi/configuration
-Dhilo.extensions.dir=C:/Users/%USERNAME%/.sapvi/extensions
-Dhilo.user.dir=C:/Users/%USERNAME%/.sapvi
Unfortunately %USERNAME% does not work. Is there a solution?
Best regards,
Roman
I have already tried:

Hi Roman,
Lumira is pulling this directory from the Windows' environment variables, and it seems your system admin has set it to a shared network directory. The problem of hard coding the directory as you found is that all users will use the same one. At this point Lumira cannot read %USERNAME% variable. You could add this to SAP's Idea Place for an enhancement request and hopefully see it in future releases.
Kind Regards,
