LDAP roles are not editable, aren't they?

Hello colleagues,

I would like to ask about the ability to edit uploaded LDAP roles through role management.

System level:

SAP_BASIS    702    0017    SAPKB70217    SAP Basis Component

SAP_ABA    702    0017    SAPKA70217    Cross-Application Component

PI_BASIS    702    0017    SAPK-70217INPIBASIS    Basis Plug-In

ST-PI    2008_1_700    0013    SAPKITLRDM    SAP Solution Tools Plug-In

SAP_BW    702    0017    SAPKW70217    SAP Business Warehouse

GRCFND_A    V1000    0020    SAPK-V1020INGRCFNDA    GRC Foundation ABAP

ST-A/PI    01S_700    0000    -    Servicetools for other App./Netweaver 04

The issue I faced:

After successful role uploading and synchronization I'm trying to adjust some attributes.

When I do this I get the error "No default connector for landscape my_ldapscape"

However, I set for my my_ldapscape default connector

I suppose that that Auth.Maintenance is not available for LDAP roles (because their auth. concept differs from SAP's one).

What I need is finish the role maintenance procedure.

When I faced with the same issue for SAP roles simple ticking on default field opposite the required system helped.

Could any one tell me how to cope with this issue?

I couldn't find any note that tells about restrictions for ldap roles adjustment through BRM.

Regards,

Artem

Hello Artem,

I have checked in our system and did not get the error message in maintain authorization phase, when for action 3 the default connector has been set. You can verify the default connector in your system in GRACSYSCONACTN table. Also you might reapply methodology and go through the phases again.

Best Regards,

Zoltan

Hi Zoltan!

Thank for the time you spent to check in your system. I'll try to reapply  methodology again, but also I need to be sure that you checked the functionality for LDAP role (group), didn't you?

I've checked the table and it contains 'X' for my connector and landscape.

What's your SP level?

Regards,

Artem
