Right. These things (Clinical Orders and Clinical Tasks) are very different things.

The Clinical Order is used to order treatments or preregister patients for a treatment.

The Clinical Order is a top-level object used to manage the process of ordering, planning and performing some treatment or schedule, while a Clinical Task is a sub-ordinate item used in a DWS situation to navigate somewhere and / or perform some action. As far as I recall, Clinical Tasks can be used to create Clinical Orders, but I believe that's the only connection.

Other than that, your question is very broad.
