NWBC for HTML - icon as background error

Dear Experts,

I am currently facing an issue, as i am design and implementing my first NWBC for html theme.

When trying to render the designed theme in Internet Explorer, the assign icon is mysteriously rendered as repeat background for the given folder.

When trying to render the same theme in Google Chrome, the theme renders much better:

Does anyone have a suggestion on what is causing this issue?

Hi Patrick,

I've had this before, I believe it's to do with the browser runtime mode, and maybe you're going via an external alias.

The solution is pretty painless; go to transaction /ui2/nwbc_cfg_cust, add a new parameter for Browser Runtime Mode, and then add your service alias path into it.  I take the SAP standard stuff as well, and each separate string is separated by an " | " icon .  I can't remember if I've tested what happens if you don't include the SAP entries but easy to include them anyways.  So if I have an external alias called '/myexternalalias/nwbc' then my entry may look similar to the following:

so your entries will look something like:

Path Filter: *

Parameter Name: FORCE_BROWSER_STANDARD_MODE

Parameter Value: /ui5_ui5/|/sap/public/bc/ui2/|/myexternalias/nwbc/
