Issue while defining Data Alias for a custom view in Segmentation

Hi all,

I have created a custom view in HANA and activated the view.The view is defined under the package created by me.Package has also been deployed and activated.Custom View is showing the data also in the preview.

However , when I am trying to assign this view as a data source in SPRO for Segmentation ( Hybris Marketing ).It throws the error that 'Data Source View ZSAP/View_Name doesnot exist.

We are working on 1505 version of Hybris Marketing and it is a co-deployment scenario.

Please suggest what can be the possible reason for this error?

Hi Pratyasha,

When you create your view in HANA studio, try to name it in lower case and then connect to it in SPRO. Not sure if it will allow you to rename the view in HANA so you may have to re-create it again.

Thanks a lot Jameel.It worked.

I debugged and found that table BIMC_DIMENSIONS was returning that no entry existed while it was there.This table stored package name ( as it is ) but code was converting it into small and hence the mismatch and error.
