Portfolio Item - PPM Project Sync Issue

Experts,

I encountered a strange issue: I have configured the auto creation of PPM Project from Portfolio Item and it works fine.

However, whenever I try to modify the created project I get the strange error:

On the other hand when I modify the portfolio item I receive the following error:

Have you encountered such problem before?

Edit:

The message I receive from the Project Level states:

Data was not saved

DPR_CORE004

Diagnosis

Checking the changes resulted in errors. The system could not save the data.

Procedure

Check the log and fix the errors.

Hi Emil,

this error message is often caused by some custom code. Can you deactivate any custom code and retest. If the issue persists, I would suggest to open a Customer Incident to check the system behavior in detail.

Unfortunately, so far no custom code was developed yet.

Is this possible to modify fields that are not synchronized between Item and project?

Hi Emil,

can you describe this in more detail? Please check also SAP note 2205122. Else, I would suggest to open an incident in order to be able to analyse the root cause.

Hi Silvia,

thank you for the response, the I still did not find the answer. There was no custom code or any modification - it could be a bug - I will create the OSS note for this.
