Hi

When I go to dbacockpit, I get this error:

@5C\QRed LED; stop; errors@EHQDBM not possible
@5C\QRed LED; stop; errors@EHQError when calling function module DBM_EXECUTE_SDB
@5C\QRed LED; stop; errors@EHQCommand:                                db_state
@5C\QRed LED; stop; errors@EHQName and Server     : sapqa2 - ehhc-sapqa2
@5C\QRed LED; stop; errors@EHQFunction            : DBM_CONNECT
@5C\QRed LED; stop; errors@EHQError               : DBM Error
@5C\QRed LED; stop; errors@EHQReturn Code         :         -4
@5C\QRed LED; stop; errors@EHQError Message       : database instance not found
@5C\QRed LED; stop; errors@EHQDBM Error 66  - No connection

I also cannot open the Calendar (db13).  This is on QA after a refresh.

Please advise.

In LC11, there is a connection setup.

In LC10, when I go to "Integration", I get: EHQ is not an instance with type liveCache.

In DB59, when I do a DB connection test, this is the outcome:

Hello Alec De Witt,

it seems that you're on MaxDB. But you don't have an "Live Cache". So LC10 and LC11are the wrong Transactions for your type of System.

You must use the transaction DB11 for connecting your DB. Create an entry for the QA-System.

Then go to the DBA-Cockpit an delete the "old" entry from the production system.

Next, go to transaction DBCO an delete again the "old" entry.

Now it should be possible to Access DB13 without error, and to test the connection via DBACOCKPIT/DB59.

Hope that helps,

Michael

Thanks Michael, I created the connection in DB11 and it worked!
