"Carry out sourcing" screen SRM Bidding Engine

Hi,

We are working with the SRM Bidding Engine. In SRM ITS, there is the option "Carry out sourcing" (inside the Professional Purchaser -> Sourcing -> Carry out sourcing".

Inside the "Carry out sourcing" there are different columns, one of them is "Manufacturer Piece Number" (we have an spanish version of SRM, so hopefully this will be the rigth translation in english).

Does anybody know what is the meaning of this column?

Hello,

Name of this field is Manufacturer part number. This is useful when you have production planing scenario and all of production parts goes to Sourcing Cockpit. Your purchasers and vendors knows exacly the part number of this material.
