Source System Export Error - SDM call of sduinfo ends with returncode 12

Hi All,

Performing source system export and got SDM connection error. reset the SDM password and updated the Admin password in secure store. But I am still getting error. Please help as soon as possible.

1.  Have you refereed the SAP Note 1724516 ?

2. Could you check the SAP Note 1747714 along with note correction. for the following error message " SDM call of sduinfo ends with returncode 12"

Hi Kavitha,

I'm having the same issue with exporting a Netweaver 7 (ABAP+JAVA) system SPS27.  Can you let me know what you did to resolve?

So far, I've ran the command so I can now start SDM from mmc sdm jstartup "mode=integrated"

Do I need to up the Patch Levels on SP27 for component, as follows:

• SAP JAVA TECH SERVICES 7.00 SP027 000001
• SAP SOFTW. DELIV. MANAGER 7.00 SP027 000001

As Per Note 1747714

Please let me know.

Our components were already in SP27, I just updated SDM only with the patch you mentioned above using update.bat command after extracting the jar file. Stop SDM, Put SDM in standalone, update, then integrated mode and then start. Then try the export. I did not update any other component.
