I have updated some Materials in ECC and I CIF them to APO, but I'm not seeing the updates in APO till I ran the Initial Transfer Program RIMODINI,

Whats the difference between the CIF and Initial Transfer ??

Hi Alex,

When you ran the CIF its just Delta Transfe to APO. RIMODINI helped to do full CIF and hence changes were showing up in APO.

Report RIMODINI is helped to force the CIF transfer of objects.

Hi Alex,

Delta Transfer means whatever objects are present in the existing Integration Model and if any changes were made in those objects then CIF will transfer only those changes. (CFM1/CFM3).

Report RIMODINI is special report provided by SAP which will force in all the changes for all objects. So basically its like full load of all the objects present in Integration Model and is equivalent to Initial Load.

No RIMODINI is not needed to be executed after every CIF.

Hi Alexander,

that's a pretty generic question around CIF and the transfer modes. Therefore I would recommend to read the following articles first to check your specific CIF setup and why the delta transfer does not happen as expected.

CIF - Frequently Asked Questions - Supply Chain Management (SCM) - SCN Wiki

Quite some stuff but I am sure this will help you.
