ESB of PI 7.4 unable to launch for lasted jdk 1.8.92

Hello expert,

          After I executed PI 7.4 initial setup, I installed lasted version JDK 1.8.92, and set the security for hostname and port, but I still can't launch the ESB,.

Hi Shuai,

I also faced same problem some time back. You have to install JRE 1.7 in your System.

If its not working unistall JRE 1.8 and try to Run again it will work fine.

If you want to open directly, go to downloaded JNLP file and directly open it with "javaws" of JRE1.7. It will definitely work.

Below is the method of opening .jnlp file.

After this you will get this pop up and it will start  ESR and ID successfully:

Try setting the security in Java Web start for

Hi Shuai,

Install JRE 1.6 because PI 7.4 only supports java 6. You can verify this in Client Installation Guidelines which is present in PI main page.
