SAP R3 Enterprise 4.7*200 Installation Error at MS SQL Server Post load Action

Hello Team,

Need assistance in resolving below installation error.

OS – Win server 2008 R2 64 bit

DB – Microsoft SQL server 2005

STARTSAP.txt

STARTSAP failed

Details are written to C:\Program Files\sapinst_instdir\R3E47X2\SYSTEM\ABAP\MSS\UC\DB\startOLD.log

StartOLD.txt

Running E:\usr\sap\OLD\SYS\exe\run/sapstart.exe name=OLD nr=00 SAPDIAHOST=R3ENTERPRICE -wait

SAP System R3ENTERPRICE_OLD_00 is already running, but at least one process doesn't run correctly:

E:\usr\sap\OLD\SYS\exe\run/sapstart.exe=>sapparam(1c): No Profile used.

If I select VIEW log I can see below error.

ERROR 2016-05-05 18:02:59

MOS-01012  PROBLEM: 'E:\usr\sap\OLD\SYS\exe\run/startsap name=OLD nr=00 SAPDIAHOST=R3ENTERPRICE' returned with '-1' which is not a defined as a success code.

Hello Raj,

There should be more information in the log:

C:\Program Files\sapinst_instdir\R3E47X2\SYSTEM\ABAP\MSS\UC\DB\startOLD.log

Look also for possible OS errors in the Event Viewer.

Just took a System restart and amazingly issue got resolved.
