Seeburger adapter upgrade to SHA2

Hi experts,

Please provide suggestions on the below.

We are using SAP PI 7.31 and Seeburger version is 2.2.0, which does not support SHA2.

There are many customers/partners connected to Seeburger. Some of the customers still support using SHA1 algorithm and certificates. But some partners are requesting us to upgrade to support SHA2. And even one of the partners have given cutover date as mid of this month, after that they will not support SHA1 and so demanding us to upgrade to SHA2.

Here my question/worry is if we upgrade Seeburger to the latest version (say version 2.2.1 or more) that is to support SHA2 certificates, will that impact the other existing interfaces of the other partners whoever still supporting SHA1?

If impact is there, in what way it will be.

Also, please let me know the steps and procedures to upgrade Seeburger and any precautionary actions we need to take while upgrading.
