Authorization for Tasks

Hi Experts,

In my webdynpro component i'm calling workflow, while calling am getting the following error 'User XYZ has no authorization to start task workflow' .

Please anyone can help me on this.

i found the solution, i did added S_WF_WI authorization object to the role.

Do also ensure that the workflow task is a general task .

You can set the task as general in TCode /sapsrm/wf_gen

maybe that helps.

Did you check the agent assignment of this task?

If you didn't specify some rules or set it as general task, you'll have this king of error message.

Hi,

Check the missing authorization using SU53 T-code and get it assigned.It will resolve your issue.
