Experts,

The master guide for SAP NW 7.5 states that "Process Orchestration runs on one system. The deployment on more than one system is not supported.".

Please let me know what that means as the statement is not very clear.

Does that relate to single SID?

Hello Neeraj,

In my opinion,. yes that is what it would mean, that it is a single SID Installation.

What this means is you cannot have NW BPM , NW BRM etc as separate SIDs during installation if you select the usage type as Process Orchestration,.

• Just to add - if you do want to install NW BPM / NW BRM with separate SIDs you would need to select the corresponding Usage Type in your SUM tool.The use case for this as probably special and unique if it happens though
• Also, you can always install a AEX first and then install the PO Add On i.e NW BPM and BRM on top of it but not the other way around. i.e, a AEX Installation can be changed into a PO Installation.
• But - a NW BPM / BRM Installation cannot be converted into a PO Installation
