SAP Netweaver Application Server AS JAVA. Oracle Installation Error

Dear Experts,

I am installing SAP Netweaver AS JAVA,

followed the installation instructions, but at PHASE No: 8, when installation asks for database installation i am facing following errors.

From SCN Post i had created

/oracle/<SID>/11204 manually as ora<sid>

Then do the following as user ora<sid>

mkdir /oracle/<SID>/11204/dbs

mkdir /oracle/<SID>/11204/network

mkdir /oracle/<SID>/11204/network/admin

But could not resolve the Issue.

Please help me in this issue, as i have to delier my porject in next two days.

Hi John,

Was the Oracle installation done successfully? Don't create users manually and assign the permissions. Please use the SWPM to create users and groups. Please refer the guide for the procedure.

Also you must have done the oracle installation as per SAP guide suggested (means you should not use typical oracle installation tool OUI directly).

I would also recommend you to install Oracle first then go with SAP installation. Please check these and retry. hope this helps.
