HTTP/1.1 400 Bad request: MIME type invalid - Root Cause & How to resolve!!

Hi All

We have been encountering HTTP/1.1 400 Bad request: MIME type invalid when trying to send messages synchronous SOAP message by calling PI hosted service from SOAP UI - by enabling MTOM - under the request properties.

Can you please let me know if anyone have faced similar issue - sending an MTOM attachment thru SOAP UI.

• Is there any specific configuration needed in Sender SOAP adapter & Receiver SOAP Adapter to get past the MIME type invalid error.

Did you add the file as attachements.

Yes, we are attaching the issue it is not allowing the request to be sent and giving the below error in the logs: HTTP/1.1 400 Bad request: MIME type invalid
