i all,
I have an interface for IDOC to FTP(file) scenario.
In production the messages for this interface are getting stuck in "TO BE DELIVERED" status.
Can anyone please tell me how I can reproduce this scenario in the test system so that the messages can stay in TO BE DELIVERED status?
Hi
I think you did not configure the time out in receiver file adapter and the file channel is hanging if there is a connectivity problems.
Check this sap note 849089 - File Adapter: FTP Timeout Handling
Configure the time out in all file channels then then the messages will be not going to TO BE DELIVERED status.
Check point 1 in the above mention blog:

Praveen.

Hi,
The message to be delivered can occur because Interface is EOIO and one message is failed in the queue. Please check if there is any failed message in the queue and clear that message.
To reproduce the same issue in test system you need to create EOIO scenario and fail one message in the process. then other messages will go to to be delivered stage.
Please refer the below blog

Harish
