Java Add-In to an existing ABAP system documents for Solution manager 4.0

Hi all,

I am upgrading Solution Manager 3.1 to 4.0, I have completed upgrade to 4.0 (ABAP) only and looking for notes/documents for Java Add-In to an existing ABAP system but I am unsuccessful.

From the upgrade master guide, I found the following:

If you have not used the SAP Web AS Java before, proceed as follows:

l Upgrade to Support Release 1 or higher: After the upgrade of SAP

Web AS ABAP, perform an add-in installation of SAP NW AS Java.

l Upgrade to the Ramp-up version: As an add-in installation is not supported

during Ramp-up, you must first install SAP Web Application Server

6.40 Java before you can perform Caution For more information on the availability of the add-in installation, see SAP Note 853572

Note 853572 does not exist on service marketplace.

Hello Nisch,

The note 853572 is "In process"

Title: Release Restr.: Usage Type AS-Java of SAP NetWeaver

but it is not relevant for what you are doing.

Look for Java Add-in installation.
