HTTP 400 - Session Not Found on SLC Supplier Portal Document Downloads

Former Member

Hello,

I have been doing quite a bit of research on this - there are similar discussions on SCN (This one: HTTP 400 - Session not found error | SCN, among others, but nothing that has actually helped me resolve my specific error).

I have an SRM SLC supplier portal that I am able to access through IE with no problems.

What I want to do is download a Supplier Qualification Response - a document generally in .docx format.

I go to Supplier List -> I select the Supplier Qualification Response -> I access the Response UI -> Then I click on the document I want to download ->

Here is where my error happens. Now, I have two machines. The trick is - when I do it on one machine I have no issues at all. When I do it on the second machine, I get the following error:

So I think the issue is Browser related. So I equalize the browser settings on the second machine as I have them on the first machine. NO SUCCESS. I still get the same issue.

I have the exact same Browser settings, and I also have the same SAP AG SSL certificates.

I have tried just about everything and running out of options. Please let me know if you have any suggestions, or if you have faced this issue and know how to troubleshoot it.

Thanks!

Kind regards,

Esteban

Hi,

The issue can be reproduced every time ?

Did you try to do it on one machine and then logoff normally, afterwards, do it on the second machine ?

The cooresponding ICM trace(dev_icm), httpwatch log is necessary for further analysis.

Best regards,

Shi

Hi Feng,

The error is reproducible every time.

Below is the SMICM trace:

[Thr 46927712208640] Wed May  4 08:32:23 2016

Hello,

The entries:

[Thr 46927712208640] *** WARNING => Connect to pwdf2625:1090 failed: NIEHOST_UNKNOWN(-2) {002df988} [icxxconn.c 2356]

Can be ignored.

It is most likely related to incorrect repository entries.

You cancheck whether the following content repository entries exist in your system, at the transaction OAC0:

- BDS_DB30

- BS_ATF_CONTENT_SERVER

- BIE_QMM

- BIE_NET

If they exit, please refer to the below SAP notes. These repositories are delivered with an incorrect customizing, and you may delete them.

- 534683: Inactive content repository BDS_DB30

- 308977: Repositories BIE_QMM, BIE_NET, HME_CONTENT and ED

- 555560: Error message in the dev_icm trace file

Cheers,

Isaías

Hi,

Just as Isaias replied,  the error you highlighted can be ignored and will be gone if you delete the content repository entries listed below in your system in transaction OAC0:

- BDS_DB30

- BS_ATF_CONTENT_SERVER

- BIE_QMM

- BIE_NET

however, the error has nothing to do with the initial issue.

Since the issue can be reproduced every time, please get the httpwatch log and the ICM trace log for further checking.

Thanks and best regards,

Shi
