Reg: Multiple value parameter not fetching values

Former Member

Hi All,

I am connecting to SAP HANA using 'Connect to SAP HANA' option.

My HANA calculation view has a multiple value parameter say IP_INPUT.

To this parameter I am passing values say VALUE1 and VALUE2

When I pass multiple values to this parameter from Lumira, its fetching data only for the first parameter.

Lumira is not fetching values for both parameters.

Could you please suggest how I can pass multiple values to HANA parameter from Lumira?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Venkat

Hi Venkat,

Currently Lumira supports only single input parameter value. If i understand correctly , you are trying to use multiple parameter for filtering in projection node(Calculation view). This is currently not supported.

Thanks,

Thanks Sudarshan,

Your understanding is correct, I want to pass two input values from Lumira to SAP HANA calculation view.

Is there any workaround to pass multiple parameter value?

Using a variable instead of parameter is not efficient in terms of performance.

I have noticed that If I pass the multiple values to single parameter separating by coma then it brings data as expected.

If you refer the sap document below it states we can pass multiple values in parameter but some how it doesn't works

I wonder if this from the SAP Lumira Release Restrictions will help:

Hi,

I checked this with SAP by OSS message

So the multiple entry parameters are supported for Analytical Views but not calculation view.

Thanks everyone for your time.

Hi Venkat

Would you be able to provide the OSS message number? I'd like to take a look at the details of this message as I am not aware of this limitation.
