Activated translations are not appearing in the site in hana cloud portal

Hi,

I have uploaded zipped translated contents in hana cloud portal ( under services-> translations).

And i have also activated the language. how can i see the translated texts in the site.

I am not able to see the options in user preferences also.

Kindly guide me on this.

Hi Vasantham,

In order to check see and verify that the translated texts appear on the site you can do one of the following:

  1. Change the language of the browser to the translated language (recommended).
  2. Add to the URL the following query parameter:  sap-language=<LANGUAGE> where the value of <LANGUAGE> is the language you have uploaded translation for the locale.
    https://developer.chrome.com/webstore/i18n#localeTable

    Assuming the URL of your site is http://flpportal-<YOUR_ACCOUNT>.dispatcher.hana.ondemand.com/sites?siteId=<SOME_SITE_ID>;, then after the addition it should be:
    http://flpportal-<YOUR_ACCOUNT>.dispatcher.hana.ondemand.com/sites?siteId=<SOME_SITE_ID>;&sap-language=<LANGUAGE>

I have tried two steps, but still i am not able to find the translated text in the site.

Do you have any idea on this

Hi,

I would like to verify that the translations were uploaded correctly and that the system has identified them.

Could you please upload a screenshot of the "Translation Manager"?

In your site, go to: Services -> Translation, take a screenshot and upload it.

Hi all,

is it possible, that end user can edit the displaying language in user settings same way as editing the theme?

Uploaded languages are working for locale.
