I am trying to restrict the value assignment for classification characteristics (e.g. in tcode MM02) for a group of users.
User A should be allowed to maintain/assign a value for a specific classification characterstic in the material master data, whereas User B should only have display access to this characteristic. I have already tried to find the correct auth. object, searched in sapnotes and in the scn but I didn't find a solution. The authorization object "C_CABN_GRP" is also not usefull in this case as this is only for a restriction in the characteristic maintenance (tcode CT04) and not in the value assignment in (e.g.) MM02.
Is there a suitable authorization case for my requirement? Can anyone help me in this case?
