Hi Pankaj,

In standard SAP, if you perform full device replacement from EG30, then system generates following two Meter Reading Orders only and there will not be any Billing Orders generated.

22Meter reading at billing-rel. removal
21Meter reading at billing-rel. inst.

MRO 22 will be on the last day of the old Device and MRO 21 will be for the first day of the New device being installed.

Along with MRO with Read Reason 21, it also generates the MRO with Read Reason 24 (Replacement upon installation) internally

Along with MRO with Read Reason 22, it also generates the MRO with Read Reason 25 (Replacement upon removal) internally

The above applies to Device Info. records.

If all of your Billing Master Data are fine with right time-slices are maintained then your billing will occur as normal after Full Device Replacement activity is successful, with prorated billing lines items.

Are you looking for any other specifics?

Hope this helps.

Hi Pankaj,

Where are you seeing the Billing Order?

What are you seeing in EL31 will be Meter Reading Orders 21 and 22 and not Billing Orders.

Billing Order table is ETRG and MRO table is EABLG, check the entries in those tables.

Can you share your screen-shots which shows those Billing Order with MR reason?

Thanks,

Srini

Hi,

If there is any billing order existing then you can get that information in table ETRG as suggested by Srinivasan.

As well as in the utility installation aslo, if you click on the billing periods button, there also you will get information about Billing Orders in the tab for billing order.

Hi,

After doing Meter Replacement as Direct Replacement or by doing Removal of old Meter and Installation of New, then you need to create MRO for Periodic/Interim Meter Reading.

Billing Order will be created when you will create MRO for Periodic meter reading e.g. reason '01' or Interim meter reading with billing '02' etc. based on your requirement.

Make sure all the readings are plausible.

Then only billing will be done.

With Best Regards
