Alert configuration for critical job, but not for all job failures

Hi All,

We have few critical jobs in the production system and recently we have installed the solution manager system 7.1. As part of alert monitoring configuration Client want us to configure alerts for only few critical jobs not all Example : job name with XYZ, ZXY not for every job failure. Please advise the steps for configuration.

Hello Damodar,

CCMS is outdated and you should not set it up as it will be discarded in near future. If you are in ramp up of solman 7.2 then you can see its all MAI no ccms

for your requirement, job monitoring can be setup using the new Unified Job Monitoring application for whatever job you want to setup critical/not critical etc.

I am working on solution manager 7.1 with SMD agent configuration. the above note are for CCMS monitoring. Are you sure the above notes works and how to define in templates

I didnot use Solution Manager for this configuration.

I configured it on ERP system using these docs and it's been working for a month.
