Shop order on Hold after one ECC production order update

Former Member

Hello,

we are facing an issue while we are processing in a ECC released production order

Whenever the production order is updated in ECC (automatically after a yield confirmation for example), an IDOC is created and sent to ME.

And as mentioned in the help Update of Released Production Order - SAP Manufacturing Execution (SAP ME) - SAP Library, the Shop order is immediately put on hold.

Is it possible to disable this putting on hold on ME ?

I would say, this may be a standard option in SAP ME.

Thank you for your suggestion

Hi Azad,

Shop Order is to be put on Hold for updates of specific fields only - you can find this in the online help and SAP Notes. For other fields, the order just gets updated and saved.

But putting on Hold for those special cases cannot be turned off.

You can check Ignore Routing Update and Ignore BOM Update system rules whether turning them on affects your scenario or not.

Hi Sergiy,

it seems that it is an known issue, which was corrected in previous version of SAP ME.

See the SAP note 2033067 - Shop order has been unnecessary set on hold after order update from ERP

I have open a OSS and waiting for the resolution.

Thank you by the way
