Dear All,

We have set up ChaRM and e-mail functionality working perfectly. Now current requirement are:

1. e-mail will be send only when status change.

2. ChaRM mail notification not required for every changes in the document.

However with current set up e-mail notification, it send notification in both cases meaning status changes and any changes in the document.

Thanks in advance for your help. Jay

Hi Dhananjay

Can you check the maximum number of actions scheduled for your status change.

Tried to maintain it 1 for number of actions processed,

Else you need to check what are the scheduled actions for each status in the scheduled actions assignment block.

You may need to reimport the ppf actions for same.

Thanks

Its working fine now thanks for your help. Next issue which we are facing now is: The person who modifies/save the CD , His/her name will get registered as “Sender” in the next immediate email(/action) triggered by ChaRM. Say for example I logged as ADMIN and modified the CD & saved it. Next person logged in as SME and change the next action “ IT approved” and save the Cd. Ideally the sender of the email should be “SME” as he is one who changed the action but it shows as “ADMIN” as sender which is wrong. How we can make sure that sender should be who changed the action? Thanks in advance for help

Hi ,

Set the action merging to "Max. 1 Unprocessed Action for Each Action Definition" and try it.

Hi Dhananjay,

Please check out SAP note 865619 to control execution of Email related actions:

865619 - Actions should only be scheduled if status is newly set
