SAP VC - CU50 - Simulator

Dear Team,

I have done the setting for SAP VC. And I am doing the simulation in CU50 with the option "Sales / Distribution" as below. With "Sales / Distribution" option I could see the configuration simulation results. But in the initial screen, if I choose the option 'Engineering", I could NOT see the configuration simulation results & getting below error. How to solve this error?

Cu50 error:

No configuration profile selected for the configurable object ZZZZ (KMAT Material Number)

MAY I KNOW WHY DO YOU WANT TO USE ENGINEERING WHEN SALES AND DISTRIBUTION IS WORKING?
