Hi All,
I am working with Service Manager 4.2 application. For the transaction error handling there is no option present in service manager 4.2 .
To solve this we are using the concept of Inbound Transaction Management in Service Management 4.2 application.
We have upgraded the SAP addon SMFND & SMCRM to version 620_700 and with the help of SAP CRM Service Manager 4.3 cofiguration guide , we are making changes in the SAP config panel. so that we can achieve this feature in Service Manager 4.2 itself.
If anyone has worked on this, can you please suggest that will this work or any additional thing needs to be done here.

The best option would be to upgrade to Service Manager 4.3 so that you have the correct base functionality around the inbound transaction management and import forward your custom changes. This better positions your implementation for future changes. Overall I suspect that would be less work than trying to back port this feature to Service Manager 4.2. Upgrading also has the advantage of being a supported configuration while if you back port that feature it may not be covered under support if you run into issues.
