Where to set ADR2-R3_USER value

Hi,

I hope my post is posted in the right place.

When i view table ADR2, the ADR2-R3_USER is blank,

my question is where do we set the ADR2-R3_USER to other values such as

Why is it blank in the first place since there's only one telephone number maintained, it could be determined as '1'.

It starts from "0"(blank), later it increments by 1.

It is SAP's notation, in many places it happens in that way.

e.g. Pricing condition type manual entry choices.

Please find attached screen-shot for the same.

If you maintain in customer master, landline numbers & mobile numbers, that will be taken by the system automatically as above.

Like if you maintain under landline number, first landline number is taken as default landline number.

If you maintain under mobile number system will take as number as cell number & so on.

I haven't used that functionality, but this is what I did - I found ADRNR for the contact person, ran SE16 with this selection and started changing some values and observed the results:

If you try this approach and also use the information from the descriptions for the values of R3_USER in your screenshot, you will be able to answer the question on your own.
