MDG-F Not able to create a cost center

WHen i try creating a cost center in MDG, i face a below error.

Cost Center 0001/9100 Field "Cost Center": Cost center not assigned to standard hier. 0001 in controlling area

How can i solve this. Pls help

I don't know much about it.

But by looking at the error, it looks like while creating cost center you have to assign it to controlling area "0001".

Can you please share me the  screen-shot of CC creation or T-Code.

Hi Lakshmi,

Just a question, did you maintain the Hierarchy Assignment UIBB during the Cost center creation in UI ?

If not, please maintain it in UI and check again. In general, in OKKP you might have defined a Standard Hry for Controlling area 0001.

So, in MDG UI also, it is expected to fill this Standard Hry and hence this validation error

Which MDG release you are using ? Is it 6.1 ?

Just another question, whether top node(CCTR Grp) is created in the Hry Maintenance screen with same name as Std hry name in OKKP ? And whether the same is given as input during the Cost center creation ?
