Dear SAP Experts,

We are getting wrong text in invoice header text. The text displayed in invoice header is different than text maintained in Customer-Material Info record.

We want CMIR text to be displayed in Invoice header text.

Also we wanted to remove wrong text appearing in invoice header text.

For CMIR : text id -> ZCH9

                    text obj : KNMT

For Invoice header text (Wrong text appeared) : text id : ZCH6

                                                                           Text obj : VBBK

same text id and text obj are present in Sales order.

Can you please explain how to display CMIR text in Invoice header text.

I have tried using VTOXN tcode but still I am not able to find out how to bring CMIR text in Invoice header text.

Texts maintained in CMIR will be over written at transaction level-for this you need to activate "read info record" at VOV8 for this SO type..

Always texts will be overwritten by your configs also- from transaction to transaction(means from Sales order to delivery or delivery to Billing)-observe Text ID  access sequence column Reference/Duplicate.

Please check these & confirm.

Further Normally standard system will throw the below error for CMIR related text object maintenance from KNMT.

Can you please tell us what you have done to process it further.

Hi PhaniKumar,

Field "Read info Record" was activated in VOV8 for sales doc type.

The issue is solved now as we have Manually deleted the wrong text from Billing document header.

CMIR is item related data and your expectation is to fetch the text to header level which is not possible with the standard.  Take the help of ABAP team and try with Function Module READ_TEXT
