Bin section does not fit into this storage bin

I am trying to do an LT04 getting the below error

What is not understandable in this error message?

Your storage bin is too long and does not fit into the given field length.

The field can only take 10, and these 10 characters are already taken by

J12J7A0001

SAP wants to add a /1 or /2 for the section to this bin and make it J12J7A0001/1

but this does not fit anymore.

You have to reduce the name of your bin to at least 8 characters only to allow SAP adding a / and a single digit number
