Hi,

The following Thread is very helpfull:

http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-63469

But, i'm very confused with the General Rights for Lumira Document.

How can I assign users rights, so they can refresh (on open) Lumira documents, not only storyboards, but also the visualizations.

With the Refresh specific right, the user is only seeing the storyboard.

Thanks,

Zaki

HI Zaki ,

When you open a document, by default you can view the first story in the Lumira story viewer.

If you want to view other stories, select the required story from the Story Name drop-down list in the left pane.

We should check " Save without Data" option to enable on open refresh to the .lums document .(from Desktop / from Launchpad using "Save as".

Hi Sateesh,

my intention is to give the user the right to refresh a visualization -not only the stories- without giving him the edit right. thas is my scenario. I think, this is not possible with the actual specific lumira rights, korrect?

Hi

Login to CMC and give the refresh rights to the user under folders in advanced tab.

Select the Lumira Document under Content and give refresh rights:

Find the screenshot for reference.

And for editing the document it is the folder level rights.

Thanks

Pramila

Hi Zaki

When you open the document in BI, do you see Edit button at top corner?

Hi Rahul,

yes, but disabled.

With the Refresh specific right, the user is only seeing the storyboard.
