How to fix manual changed date in schedule line

Hey Guys:

I got an issue and would like to see if you happen to have any idea :

SAP propose schedule line date when user create SO.

These date would be manual updated by users for reasons likes :  to meet the date that ship leaves port ..container booking date ...

The issue is , once user manual update these date, they can be set back during credit check , release, Re-ATP.

Flag of Fix qty and date is not working in this case.

You might want to clarify what scenario is this exactly. Is this wholesale? Manufacturing? Where/how are you getting the goods?

Also setting the schedule line date will not make the items magically available if you simply don't have them. So aren't you looking at it from a wrong end? Or am I missing something?

Can you clear my understanding?

You want to fix the date which user has enter at schedule line category? Or 

You want to grayed out the option of schedule line date change for user?

Or let's say, what's the standard practice to fix the schedule date to meet Vessel agenda ?
